wide angle

Just before that big mansion was a funny tree standing on the side of the road.
All by itself like that it didn’t look all that impressive. But looking at it from a different angle (it took me a handful of mosquito bites, and some nettle itch because of me running around on flip flops in a ditch 😉 ) this made a whole big difference.
From the point where I took this picture, I was probably half a meter below the base of that tree. And with the wide angle, the stormy clouds in the background and it being black and white, it all of a sudden looks a lot more dooming than it really was.

This is another one of those dreadful things. I’m trying to grow into the situation of having to clean things all by myself. And slowly… things are getting dirty again 😀
And the big, bad machine is scaring the cats…

Anyway, I guess house cleaning’s never gonna be my thing. I’ll just stick to photography and the likes.

Cows are probably one of the most photographed animals. And one of the most prominently visible animals on funny post cards and stuff. Why?
They’re so dang curious and they stuff their nose IN your lens if only you give them the opportunity.

I was out with the wide angle and that makes things even worse, because you get in so close and when you look through the view finder you don’t realize how close you are really… Until you get a wet slimy slobber on your glass.
But nonetheless… got myself a couple of those post cards 😀
