I haven’t shot quite as many pictures of the rascal in the house as I have of the ice queen, so here are a couple of him, in one of those rare moments that he’s not sleeping or breaking down the house…

It would’ve been a great day to go out shooting, but I haven’t really been feeling all that well. I guess the structural 4-5 hour nights of sleep are finally catching up with me. Tonight’s early to bed. For real.
In the mean time you’ll just have to settle with some more pet-images. They’re an easy subject/target. And like me they’re having a lovely lazy Sunday.
There’s some weird interaction going on between cat and turtle, though. Or… It’s more one-directional interaction.

And the other cat just doesn’t care. He sleeps and sleeps, and sleeps, and eats, and sleeps, and sleeps…

Sometimes I just wish I was a cat and had it as good as our cats.
It’d be great to just be able to sleep 18 hours a day, stir up some dust for half an hour or an hour after my owner’s gone to bed, get good food 3 times a day when all I have to do is annoyingly meow for it for an hour continuously, stroll around the apartment aimlessly for an hour or so and jump onto places where I’m not supposed to jump on, and hold my buddy by the head with my front paws and kick the crap out of him with my back paws for an hour a day…
Sounds like something I could do, at least for awhile…

After a couple of days of gray, overcast weather we got another really nice day. Chilly and windy, but sunny and nice. The cats especially seem to like these kind of days, and they tend to pick a sunny spot in between the shadows in the apartment to stretch out or to relax. I’d like to do that too, but usually the sunny spots in between the shadows aren’t big enough for me to stretch out… Unfortunately…
(Oh, and yes, those eyes are really that color, no image manipulation there.)

So I did a couple of those, here and there. You saw a few posts ago the ones I did in Portland, and quite a while back the ones of our own cats. And they keep on being a source of inspiration.
They’re a pair of silly, and curious beings, that surprise you all the time with the funkiest stuff, or the weirdest positions, or whatever… One of their favorite spots is on the light on the aquarium, because it’s warm and nice, and they just squeeze up behind a flower pot which is standing there. And when we’re sitting at the dining table having breakfast, you get these kinds of peek-a-boo moments when they hear or smell something…
