  1. I think we are just used to limit our vision to things we see exactly in front of us. I remember a driving theory class, where they showed a traffic situation from behind the wheel and the eyes of a young driver with a fresh license. You could see some cars in front of you and perhaps a car through the driver’s side mirror, trying to overtake.

    Then they showed the same “image”, viewed through the eyes of an experienced driver. Suddenly there was a police car in the rear view mirror with a red blinking light, a traffic light turning red far ahead and an old lady trying to cross the road barely visible behind a car next to the driver’s. It’s all about perspective and experience.
