Today is the Finnish Independence Day.
Today is the day where the biggest part of the country is sitting in front of the telly watching the President’s Independence Day ball. It’s the day where everyone’s ogling at who’s wearing what kind of dress and who’s coming in with whom. You know… the kind of ogling that ends up with a bad story on the gossip channel in the hair dresser’s saloon š
Being home alone, save for the cats (that got their food in time), and having no real interest in watching dresses and suits and people in wrong company, I figured I could make much better use of myself making a bit of extra money than sitting at home watching the tv (which only costs money š ).
So today’s bank holiday started for me at 7am together with my friend Heidelberg. We spent a nice day together, him and I.
@Anna
I shot that with a large aperture on purpose. I think it looks better with a narrow depth of field. Too much in focus would make this image a bit messy. There’s so much stuff going on in the background.
I like the photos, especially the yellow one, but if only the focus area was a little larger… it’d somehow give a better grasp. Or maybe it’s just my vision that is blurred?
